The 2024 UVCA Halloween party is now in the books! A great turnout of neighbors and friends on a. perfect fall evening.

The chili contest yielded two winners–Traditional Winner was Trey Gilmore and Non-Traditional Winner was David Clark (White Chicken Chili). The winner receive $25.00 and their name on the UVCA Chili Cookoff Plaque. It wouldn’t be a contest with out all the neighbors who brought their delicious chilis! Thank you to Pat Deacon, Jenna Dunham, Ryan Barton, and Carol Stuart for bringing their dishes. There was very little chili left.

Thank you to our JUDGES! Ryan Barton, Cathie Atkinson, and Clinton Township Officer Struble who had the hard deck of selecting the winners.

These events don’t happen automatically! HUGE thanks to Bobbie Olt for organizing, promoting and helping prepare for the event. Also big thanks Carol Stuart, Pat Deacon, Tom Snyder, Wayne Newman and Paulie Hansplant for preparing and servicing food and drink.

Lastly, thank YOU to the neighbors who came out to support the event. It is what makes our little neighborhood such a favorite. Neighbors, friends, kids, and getting together to celebrate and mingle. YOU are the heart of the View so thank you to everyone that came out tonight and thank you for your generous donations. We raised over $200 which goes right back to the UVCA and help funds these events throughout the year.
